SICU APP (NP/PA) - Lahey Hospital & Medical Center
Burlington, MA
About Us:
- 24-bed Surgical ICU (Level 1 Trauma).
- Nationally recognized 345-bed tertiary care hospital.
- Collaborative team: 12 APPs, 14 Intensivists, Residents.
- Diverse patient population: Trauma, Transplant, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Cardiac, Thoracic.
Your Responsibilities:
- Direct care of critically ill surgical patients.
- Ventilator management, resuscitation, hemodynamic monitoring.
- Mechanical circulatory support, vasopressor/inotrope use.
- Invasive line placement (arterial, central).
- Rotation between Surgical ICU and Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, or Cardiothoracic Surgery experience.
- Critical Care Fellowship (preferred).
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- PA/NP MA license
