Description

We are seeking a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner with potential for full-time employment. Two days a week including Saturday.
The ideal candidate will provide unrushed high-quality patient care in a private office setting. Fluency in Japanese is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine history and comprehensive physical examinations
- Perform and/or interpret diagnostic tests and/or procedures
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
- Deliver direct patient care
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using medical terminology and standards
- Collaborate with the physician to ensure optimal patient care
- Perform other clinical responsibility such as arranging follow-up for patients, recalling patients for further evaluation and treatment

Requirements

• Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
